The ‘Day at the Lake’ event will be on Saturday, June 2nd (9am to 1pm). We will need volunteers to meet at the Springfield Lake Boathouse by 8am to set up, unload gear, etc. Terri Bradley plans on being there earlier and will be bringing coffee & donuts for volunteers.
OMP will need 12-15 volunteers:
• 5 or 6 in kayaks to paddle alongside participants (would need their own kayaks but canoes provided)
• 2 or 3 to paddle canoe with participant
• 2 or 3 to help participants get in and out of kayaks/canoes & help with launch and landing
• 2 or 3 to help fit participants with PFDs and determine which type of craft they would like to try.
