OMP Fall Outing 2023!

OMP has booked the dates of Friday, October 6th thru Sunday, October 8th for our Fall Outing. 



We have five consecutive campsites reserved on the Niangua River at Hidden Valley Outfitters with camping available both Friday and Saturday night and we will plan on a float trip during the day Saturday for those that are interested. The campground is directly across the river from the Bennett Springs river access and it is a new facility that offers showers, a store with all the amenities, and they even serve burgers and IMO’s pizza. 



Bennett Springs State Park is just across the road and offers fishing, hiking trails, playgrounds, etc…It will be a great location to hang out with the group and enjoy some nice fall weather. OMP will provide a cookout on Saturday night for all attendees. The cost for camping is $6.50 per night.   The club will collect the fees from individuals and handle settling the bill with Hidden Valley at the end of the weekend.  Attendees are welcome to stay one night or both nights. Many of us will be going down on Friday and staying until Sunday. There are also some very nice small cabins available on site as well if people want to book a cabin on their own.
