Photography Float hosted by Anabeth Minx

Mid-October is the best time to catch the peak of fall foliage in Missouri. The Ozark National Scenic Riverways offer a beautiful drive and tremendous color this time of year. This 7 mile day float on the Current River includes hiking, so be sure to bring your boots as well as your camera. We’ll be off the river by 5pm to allow time for a 1.5 mile sunset hike up to an overlook. You can head on back home or stick around for camping and another (shorter) hike at dawn. Temps are looking to come back up for Saturday, and there’s no rain in the forecast.

Contact Anabeth Minx @ editor@ozarkmtnpaddlers.org for all the details.
