Join your host, Larry Wantland, as we paddle the swift and beautiful Eleven Point River (Greer’s Crossing to Whitten Access = 11 miles) on Saturday, June 15th.
We’ll follow the same path as last year’s trip of 11 miles by putting in at Greer’s Crossing and paddle to Whitten access. We’ll be camping Friday night at Greer’s Crossing Campground off of Highway 19 and plan to put-in around 10:00AM Saturday after running the shuttle. For those not wishing to camp Friday night, please arrive at Greer by 9:00AM to run shuttle.
There are limited gravel bars on this stretch but we’ll take advantage of several opportunities to take lunch and explore during the day.
