On Saturday, June 4th, the Ozark Mountain Paddlers and our organization will be hosting our annual River Rescue clean-up event where volunteers will work together to remove trash from our local waterways.
This year’s clean-up, in it’s 18th year, will be held on 5.5 mile stretch of the James River just outside of Nixa. We will be putting in and taking out on beautiful private property access points. (Additional information and directions will be provided after registration)
Cost to participate is $15 per person and includes shuttling, lunch and a collectable River Rescue t-shirt. Door prizes and a raffle will be your chance to win!
Participants can bring your own boat or reserve one at no extra cost. Boats are first come first serve. Kids 12 and under are free. (Kids shirts much be purchased separately for $10, if desired. Adult shirt included with payment of pre-registration.)
