There will be FREE Intro to Paddling courses available this Saturday (May 18th) at Fellows Lake.
Two sessions are available:
• 8am – 12pm session
• 1pm – 5pm session
Course description: The American Canoe Association level one “Intro to Paddling” Class being offered by US Coast Guard Auxilary, Ozark Mountain Paddlers and Fellows Lake. Learn to paddle safely on open flat water, basic vessel handling, safety, launching, landing and basic paddle strokes.
Open to everyone 12 and over minors will need a parent present. If using your own boat it must have current Fellows permit. If you need to rent a boat we will have canoes & kayaks available for $20 for the sessions. NOTE: THERE ARE TWO SESSIONS (AM & PM) LIMITED TO 15 PER SESSION, MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT SESSION!
