In January we began the first of a series of twelve floats, one per month on the same stretch of river for an entire year. We had a beautiful day on the water last month with sunshine and clear water. At the time of that float, the gauge near Kinser Bridge was reading 2.63 feet. Two weeks later that same gauge was at nearly 12 feet after a significant rainstorm.
This coming Saturday, Feb 23rd, will be the second installment in this series and it will be a different river than the first. We’ll meet at Creighton Access (Peckers Beach) at 11:30, run shuttle and be off the river by 5. Everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there!
