  • WILDERNESS FLOAT MEETING (DEADLINE) – Oct. 2nd (FRIDAY) • Meet at White River Brewing Co. at 7:00pm • PLEASE NOTE:  This is a mandatory meeting for those wanting to participate, which is also the deadline, to attend this float.  We will be meeting at White River Brewing Company on Oct. 2nd (FRIDAY) at 7:00pm to discuss planning for this trip and to get an official tally of participants. Contact Tom Smith at 417.773.0688 for further details.
  • WILDERNESS FLOAT – Oct. 16, 17, & 18 (FRIDAY – SUNDAY) • Buffalo River (Rush to Buffalo City = 23-25 miles!) • MANDATORY MULTI-DAY OVER-NIGHTER (NO ACCESS POINTS IN BETWEEN THIS STRETCH OF RIVER)! • If you want a little break from civilization, this float is for you!  3 days of paddling on the last leg of the lower Buffalo River before it dumps in to the White River (no access points in between this section).  With the beauty in itself of the Buffalo and the fall colors in transition, this is sure to be a memorable trip!  PLEASE NOTE:  There is a mandatory meeting for those wanting to participate, which is also the deadline to attend this float.  We will be meeting at White River Brewing Company on Oct. 2nd (FRIDAY) at 7:00pm to discuss planning for this trip and to get an official tally of participants.   • THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
    FOSTER BOYS EVENT     – Nov. 7th (SATURDAY) • 2:00 – 5:00pm • Logan-Rogersville Fire Station • The LRFD is hosting an event for local foster children to learn the basics of canoeing on the station’s pond. We are needing 3-5 volunteers for this event. Please contact Jason Haskin at 417.379.2220 to volunteer.
  • OMP X-MAS PARTY! – Dec. 5th (SATURDAY) • 7pm – 11pm! • B2 (B Squared) Cafe (CLICK HERE for location map) • Come join us for our annual X-mas party! We will have catered appetizers, a beer and wine CASH BAR available (NO BYOB ALLOWED at this event!), a slideshow with many pictures and video clips of paddling experiences over the years, and a whole lot of mingling fun reflecting on 2015 and previous years!
